Circleville Pumpkin Show

Took a drive down to Circleville to see what the Pumpkin Show had to offer this year. Obviously there was plenty of good food and just about anything you could think of was made from pumpkin. I read where there is somewhere in the realm of 23,000 pumpkin pies sold during the 4 day event. The first pumpkin show was held back in 1903. It is billed as “The Greatest FREE Show on Earth”. Here are a few shots I took while down there on Saturday.
Lynd’s Fruit Farm
Photography is not all work. Yesterday Shelly and I drove out to Lynd’s Fruit Farm to pick some apples and maybe take a hay ride with Gary, Kari and little Maddy. It was perfect weather for our outing. The temperature was in the 70’s and the sun was shining. It was so nice to get out and enjoy the weather. Here are a few pictures I took while we were there.
Diving in Key Largo
As some of you know, I took a trip down to the Florida keys to do some diving and take some pictures. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate for diving. I got to take 2 dives the second day I was there. On the 2nd dive myself and another photographer came across a Nurse Shark. I happened to be shooting video, so what you get to see is the shark head right at me when my dive buddy scared it. I will try to get some of the picture I took up on the site as soon as I go through them. The water was cloudy with a lot of sand from the approaching storm, so not many pictures turned out the way I would have liked them to. Hope you enjoy the video.

Niagara Falls
Got in the car Friday afternoon and headed up to the Canadian side of Niagara Falls. It’s only about a 5 and a half hour trip from Westerville. Aside from gas being $4.35/gallon in NY, the trip went great.
