Diving at Circleville Twin Quarries

This past weekend I decided it had been too long since I was scuba diving last.  Plus I really need to get back on finishing my PADI Dive Master Training.  I headed down to Circleville Twin Quarries to meet up with Underwater Connection.  I spent Saturday and Sunday diving with a class and on my own with another diver.  Total I out in 8 dives.  While I was preparing for my third dive Sunday I had my camera sitting on the bench ready to get a few shots of the quarry and it’s many wrecks.  Another fellow diver approved me and asked if I had ever gone over to the east side of the quarry.  I have always assumed that both sides were pretty much the same thing, rocks piled up on the slope.  Boy was I wrong, the east side of the quarry is like a fish tank.  Full of life and color.  Below are some shots I took while diving my last 2 dives of the weekend.  Hope you enjoy them and please let me know what you think.

Grants first dive.

My little buddy loves the water already. Although we have had him in the pool and up at the lake already, today was his first underwater visit. Here is a video a shot of this venture.  I hope to get some photos of him in the next week or so. When I do take those photos, I will video the entire shoot and post that here too.

Diving in Key Largo

As some of you know, I took a trip down to the Florida keys to do some diving and take some pictures. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate for diving. I got to take 2 dives the second day I was there. On the 2nd dive myself and another photographer came across a Nurse Shark. I happened to be shooting video, so what you get to see is the shark head right at me when my dive buddy scared it. I will try to get some of the picture I took up on the site as soon as I go through them. The water was cloudy with a lot of sand from the approaching storm, so not many pictures turned out the way I would have liked them to. Hope you enjoy the video.
