Ellis Family
My buddy Greg is very interested in photography and asked if I would come out and show him how to conduct a family portrait session. I met up with Greg and the Ellis family at Coffman Park in Dublin. Actually, it is just down the street from my studio. We started shooting shortly after 6pm. The lighting was to our backs, so we had to be sure and watch for our shadows. *No one wants a picture with their photographers shadow in it.* I had scoped out the park earlier that day with Greg, picking out good locations for the backdrop.
In this shot I used a remote flash to fill the background with light.
These next two photos where taken at the same time. I actually had Greg sit behind the tree to help with the kids.
